Dr. Jarod Johnson of Arctic Dental Speaks at the Pediatric Dentistry Summit

Dr. Jarod Johnson attended and presented at The Pediatric Dentistry Summit at the GNYDM in New York City from November 24th to November 27th. This event was co-hosted by the New York Academy of Pediatric Dentistry (NYAPD) and the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry (AAPD). The AAPD is is the recognized authority on children’s oral health.

The summit advocates for children’s oral health from the standpoint of continuing education for pediatric dentists and general dentists alike.

Featured alongside other presentations, Dr. Jarod showed his commitment to the community at large with his presentation on Zirconia Crowns. The talk was geared toward helping dentists improving their skills in zirconia crowns and bioceramics to provide a higher level of care to patients.

Dr. Jarod has received advanced training in behavior management, sedation, hospital dentistry, trauma, special health care needs, interceptive orthodontics, space maintenance, oral hygiene, and dietary counseling. His energetic personality allows him to relate to kids on an individual level. He understands the importance of children having a positive dental experience and strives to provide the best care tailored to each child’s needs. Dr. Jarod enjoys educating children and their families on the importance of oral health so they can establish good habits for a lifetime of smiles. His goal is to develop relationships with each of his patients to establish a dental home that is welcoming from infancy through adolescence.
