Dr. Jarod Johnson has been accepted for publication in Dentaltown Magazine for the second time this year. Dentaltown is distributed nationally to general dentists, and specialists throughout the United States.

The recent article “Space Invaders” highlights space maintenance in the primary and mixed dentitions (baby teeth, and the transition to permanent teeth). The piece highlights the basics of space maintenance in the pediatric patient, and techniques to educate dentists on impression techniques.

Dr. Jarod has also authored “Is it time to be Conservative, or Progressive?”, and instructed an online course “The Blunderbuss Apex: A Search for the Smoking Gun” with Dentaltown.

He is currently working on a publication for a future issue of Dentaltown magazine.

Dr. Jarod has received advanced training in behavior management, sedation, hospital dentistry, trauma, special health care needs, interceptive orthodontics, space maintenance, oral hygiene, and dietary counseling. His energetic personality allows him to relate to kids on an individual level. He understands the importance of children having a positive dental experience and strives to provide the best care tailored to each child’s needs. Dr. Jarod enjoys educating children and their families on the importance of oral health so they can establish good habits for a lifetime of smiles. His goal is to develop relationships with each of his patients to establish a dental home that is welcoming from infancy through adolescence.
