Iowa Mission of Mercy (IMOM)

On September 20th, 2019 Dr. Jarod Johnson and our staff participated in the Iowa Mission of Mercy, in Davenport, IA. The event was hosted by Iowa Dental Association. The Arctic Dental team provided care to numerous children in the Pediatric Dentistry area. The team appreciated the opportunity to help out patients in our local community. It was a heartwarming experience for all who attended.

Iowa Mission of Mercy Organization

The Mission of Mercy is an annual event that sets up a temporary dental clinic in order to provide dental care at no cost to improve the health of Iowans. The event rotates throughout the state of Iowa to better serve the population. Next year’s event will take place on November 6 &7th in Des Moines, IA.

Dr. Jarod

Dr. Jarod has received advanced training in behavior management, sedation, hospital dentistry, trauma, special health care needs, interceptive orthodontics, space maintenance, oral hygiene, and dietary counseling. His energetic personality allows him to relate to kids on an individual level. He understands the importance of children having a positive dental experience and strives to provide the best care tailored to each child’s needs. Dr. Jarod enjoys educating children and their families on the importance of oral health so they can establish good habits for a lifetime of smiles. His goal is to develop relationships with each of his patients to establish a dental home that is welcoming from infancy through adolescence.
