Muscatine Pediatric Dentist Dr. Jarod Johnson was recently published in the September Edition of EZPedo Magazine. The magazine is a nationally distributed publication that reaches the offices of hundreds of practicing dentists.

Dr. Jarod’s article titled “Pulp Fiction” overviews what he believes to be the top ten myths of the primary dental pulp. The piece focuses on educating general dentists and pediatric dentists on common misconceptions related to pulpal therapy when treating baby teeth.

This is the second time Dr. Jarod has been featured in EZPedo Magazine. Dr. Jarod is proud to offer white pediatric crowns to his patients who meet the criteria for placement.

Dr. Jarod Johnson is a Diplomate, American Board of Pediatric Dentistry.

Dr. Jarod has received advanced training in behavior management, sedation, hospital dentistry, trauma, special health care needs, interceptive orthodontics, space maintenance, oral hygiene, and dietary counseling. His energetic personality allows him to relate to kids on an individual level. He understands the importance of children having a positive dental experience and strives to provide the best care tailored to each child’s needs. Dr. Jarod enjoys educating children and their families on the importance of oral health so they can establish good habits for a lifetime of smiles. His goal is to develop relationships with each of his patients to establish a dental home that is welcoming from infancy through adolescence.
