Dr. Jarod to Serve on Musser Public Library Board

The Musser Public Library Board has a new member this year.  Dr. Jarod Johnson was recently approved by the Muscatine City Council to serve on the library board.  The Council approved the decision  at the December 17th, 2015 meeting.  The appointment begins a four year term with the board which holds monthly meetings.  Dr. Jarod will represent the families and children of Muscatine and the surrounding communities.

Dr. Jarod is a Pediatric Dentist and resident of Muscatine.  He completed his dental training at The University of Iowa and his specialty training at The University of Nevada, Las Vegas.  While in Las Vegas he severed as a Delegate in the Southern Nevada Dental Society in a leadership capacity representing dentists and their patients in the State of Nevada.  He is excited to have an opportunity to serve on a local and community level with the Musser Public Library.  His favorite childhood book is The Giving Tree by Shel Silverstein.
